Danaher Corporation Announces Vice President, Human Resources

Danaher Corporation announced today that Rick L. Bentzinger, 52 years old, has been appointed Corporate Vice President, Human Resources.

Mr. Bentzinger will have full responsibility for all Human Resources strategies for Danaher globally, reporting to H. Lawrence Culp, Jr, President and CEO. Previously, Mr. Bentzinger was Vice President, Human Resources for Danaher's Motion Control business. Before joining Danaher in 2002, Mr. Bentzinger was Vice President, Human Resources at Colfax Corporation. Prior to Colfax, he held increasingly responsible senior Human Resource roles at Mack Molding Company, Coca-Cola and Frito-Lay.

Mr. Culp stated, "Rick has consistently demonstrated superior leadership since joining Danaher, and is strongly aligned with our Corporation's values. I look forward to working with Rick who will be playing a vital leadership role as a key member of Danaher's executive management team."
