Danaher Corporation's Fluke Networks Unit to Acquire NetMetrix Division from Agilent Technologies Inc.

Fluke Networks, Inc., a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire the assets and technology of NetMetrix, a leading developer of network-performance management solutions, from Agilent Technologies Inc. . Agilent will receive a minority interest in Fluke Networks as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.

The division, with annual revenues exceeding $20 million, is part of Agilent's Communications Solutions Group and operates in Santa Clara, Calif. and Colorado Springs, Colo., with field and support persons located throughout the U.S. and in 15 countries.
