Danaher Corporation announced today that its quarterly earnings conference call for the fourth quarter and year-end 2004 results has been scheduled for Thursday, January 27, 2005 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time and will last approximately 1 hour. The call will be simultaneously webcast via Danaher's website at http://www.danaher.com/ with an accompanying slide presentation.

Danaher's earnings press release for the fourth quarter and year-end 2004 will be available prior to the call on Danaher's website beginning at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
