Danaher Corporation announced today that its quarterly earnings conference call for the first quarter has been scheduled for Thursday, April 20 beginning at 8:00 a.m. EDT and lasting approximately 1 hour. The call will be simultaneously webcast via Danaher's website at http://www.danaher.com/ with an accompanying slide presentation.

Danaher's earnings press release and its 10-Q for the 2006 first quarter will be available prior to the call on Danaher's website beginning at 6:00 a.m. EDT. In addition, the supplemental financial and statistical information referenced in the conference call will be located in the "Investor Relations" section of Danaher's website prior to the call.

A replay of the call will be available on Danaher's website later that day.
