Danaher Announces Proposed Public Offering of Senior Notes

Danaher Corporation today announced the proposed public offering of $500 million of its senior notes due 2019. The public offering will be made pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on file with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The proceeds from the proposed public offering will be used to repay a portion of Danaher's outstanding commercial paper and for other general corporate purposes.

Banc of America Securities LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Goldman, Sachs & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers.
