WASHINGTON, Nov. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR) announced today that Brian Ellis has been named Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Danaher Corporation. Mr. Ellis joins Danaher from Medtronic, plc., where he served as General Counsel of the company's $8 billion global Restorative Therapies Group. Prior to Medtronic, Mr. Ellis worked at GE Healthcare as General Counsel of Monitoring Solutions and Services and, earlier, as Chief Compliance Officer. In this new role, Mr. Ellis will report directly to Thomas P. Joyce, Jr., Danaher's President and Chief Executive Officer.
