In April 2010, Danaher’s management determined that Danaher and all of its businesses should cease doing business with or in Iran, after an appropriate wind-down period. The decision reflects Danaher’s commitment to being a responsible, worldwide corporate citizen and management’s judgment that such action is in the best interests of Danaher’s shareholders in light of the business and reputational risks that may arise from doing business in or with Iran1

1In January of 2015, Danaher updated its policy to permit shipments of products, under a limited exception, for medical and humanitarian purposes only.  This exception follows the guidelines as established by the US government.
